Hi everybody,

A helpful workaround for Windows 8 and 10 (I have just tried it with Windows 10) is described here:

Please note that the link to the tool provided in this article does not work any longer, but you can find the tool described when you click on the name of the author of the tool mentioned in the text (Aaron Stebner).

In short: Set the Idiom installer to compatibility with Windows XP (right-click > Properties > Compatibility), run the clean up tool and install Idiom.
