There's no need. You said "I've always been dreaming of a CAT tool that it's free, customizable, light, and that runs on both Mac and Windows" and I assumed that you had already checked OmegaT and had found it to be sadly lacking.
But if you do take a second look, just make sure you get [url= [url removed] ]OmegaT[/url] (which is actively being developed) and not [url= [url removed] ]OmegaT+[/url] (whose author had forked from OmegaT many years ago and added some of his own customisations, some of which were eventually included in OmegaT as well).
