99.999% of all files are a combination of words and some numbers, and theoretically you can use any CAT tool for translation. So you need to be more specific about your file, it is advisable to provide a detailed description (what log file? from what software/website? what is the purpose of such translation (as log files aren't normally translated)? Can you post a small example?
