Leena, the translation industry is in a state of flux and only a foolish person would claim to be able to see how circumstances will evolve over the next few years. If I were you I would look at a yearly subscription to CafeTran Espresso instead of investing a large sum of money in Studio for an uncertain return.

Many people here seem to use CafeTran for SDL/Trados packages without any major problems, and it is much more economical and more actively developed than the desktop version of Studio. The developer is active in these forums.
