Topic: Conversion of "Trados 5" Memory (tmx Level 1 or txt) into a modern Format?
Poster: Simona Romagnoli
I have some memories created with my old Trados 5 that I need to use now with OmegaT.
A proZ member gave me the idea to use the free version of Xbench 2.9 which I used to import the trados files and to save them into a newer Xbench tmx-format (level 2 I suppose).
I can use now the memories with OmegaT
BUT I also LOST
"all" attributes like, created date, project number, client, etc.
Any idea how I could manage it without buying an expensive CAT-Tool? (I remember for example that a trial version of MemoQ could read the old Memories directly, but the trial time in now expired...)
Or is there a setting in Xbench that i don't know to preserve some memory attributes?
