after further tests, I've come to the conclusion that both the online and the offline editors pause when searching TMs and TermBases... it's even worse if a customised MT engine is added... it really depends... sometimes it's quick for a few segment, but then it stalls... taking maybe 5 seconds to apply a match... not sure what the cause of this is...
