Thank you, Samuel and FarkasAndras! What worked for me was converting tables to text (using Samuel's macros) and then saving the file as RTF. I should've also converted automatic numeration to plain text but didn't think about that until it was too late to start anew. All in all, there's finally some progress.

I use PlusTools, but you're going to have to convert those tables first (perhaps WinAlign also works if you convert them first). You can convert them with tabs or paragraph marks, using these two macros (it converts all tables in the file at once):

If you do use PlusTools, you're going to have to convert the WF TM to TMX.

In PlusTools, select "haven't been segmented yet" unless you want to segment by paragraph, and "classic interface" unless you want to expertiment with old-style two-file alignment.
