Thanks for contributing to this thread, Fiach. However, the original post relates to editing 200 of these files, in a single view. If you're going to edit the XML files in any text editor, you'd have to either merge the files into a single text file, or use a text editor that can show all of its files in a merged kind of way. Do you know of any text editor that has a merged view like that?
There are several software packages available to download such as POEditor or an online tool called RESX Translate at
Resxtranslate.com is not an online editor but a machine translation system. If you upload a RESX file, it offers to machine translate the file for you (apparently human translation is also sometimes available, at a cost). It's not an editor. The RESX editing feature in PoEditor is also an online service. Do you know if it offers a merged view for multiple files?
You may be confusing PoEditor (a paid online service) with PoEdit (a free offline editor). PoEdit can only edit PO/POT files and XLIFF files, not RESX files. Of course, you can translate a RESX project using PoEdit, if you convert the RESX files to PO, using any of the available "resx2po" utilities (YMMV). As far as I know, however, PoEdit does not offer a merged view either.
